We are having some new church friends over today and I can feel the dark cloud of self-promotion looming over my head and heart. The mom is super sweet and fun and down-to-earth and I can so feel that I want her to think I am cool.
So I pray for help, that she and I would: "...be of one mind". And that I would "do nothing out of...vain conceit but in humility count others more significant...(for) Jesus did not count equality with God as something to be clung to but made himself nothing...so that every tongue confess Jesus is Lord TO THE GLORY OF GOD THE FATHER."
Oh God, I will need your help for this! Thank you!!
